How it works

Each game leads you through a series of interactive puzzles that will require observation, logic and team work to solve. As you successfully solve our puzzles you will unlock new rooms containing more puzzles. The aim of the game is to solve all the puzzles using the fewest number of clues in the quickest time.

These games do not have a live host so you can buy and play whenever is convenient for your team.

Before the game starts

We recommend that you host a virtual meeting with all team members prior to the event. Use this meeting to divide your group into teams of up to 6 players, and assign each team a game code.

The game

Teams should set up a video call to communicate with each other and go to their assigned link. From here, they have an unlimited amount of time to complete the game - although we suggest assigning around 90 minutes for the activity. All team members can independently view and solve puzzles, as well as ask for hints. When one team member completes a puzzle, picks up an item, or asks for a hint, this is updated in real time for everyone.

Help

There is a hint system built into the games, so teams can access help if they need it. Should a team get completely stuck, there is an option to have the puzzle “solved” for them, so they are able to move on. We always think it’s good to remind people that the hints are there to be used - if you haven’t made any movement in a few minutes, it’s time to get a hint!!

Scores

On finishing the game (“escaping”!) each team gets a scorecard with a time and number of clues used on it.

Private Leaderboard

You'll receive a link to your team's private leaderboard in your game email. You will be able to see all the teams involved, their time, number of hints used, and overall score once they complete their game. Perfect for adding a touch of competition to your event.

How to buy (for 20 games or less)

For groups requiring 20 games or less we recommend buying directly through the website. Select the correct number of games from the quantity drop down and you will be emailed one link for each game.

How to buy (for more than 20 games)

For larger groups contact us and we will invoice you independently.

How many games do I need?

There is no limit to the number of players per game but we have found that these games work best in teams of 4-6. This ensures that each team member is involved and can contribute.
